Minimally invasive treatment of transorbital penetrating injury of skull base and cavernous sinus: A case report

چکیده

Introduction. A transorbital intracranial injury with a foreign body can be very complex and controversial therapeutic problem. The orbit's content is susceptible to penetrating trauma, neurovascular skull base structures are at high risk from injury. There some traditional cranial surgical approaches more recently reported different endoscopic for treating this kind of Case report. We presented case 30-year-old male who had an accident work when piece wood hit him in his head entered through the medial aspect left orbit cavernous sinus Rapid complete radiological clinical assessments were performed, patient was treated minimally invasive manner. manually extracted endovascular team ready treat adverse events. No postoperative complications reported, visual acuity increased one-month follow-up. Conclusion. Penetrating wounds represent challenge that re-quires multidisciplinary assessment well-organized management. Combined should considered during treatment
